Yeah i got bored in class
this is an adult male space giraffe.
Space Giraffes, or Whiktahyin (wick-tah-yin), are the universe's predator. They hunt and kill anything they can find to eat.
They have no eyes, instead, they see and get around via sensory from their gills.
Whiktahyin are hatched from eggs that are approximately 40 feet tall.
They are all born with a blade on their head that grows larger with age, this is a primary defense for them.
Male Whiktahyin generally have larger blade crest thingies and have a loose, rough, flap of skin connecting between the bottom of their head and neck, this turns bright red during mating season (one year, every 10 years), on average, the brighter red the males flesh is, the more ladies he attracts.
Whiktahyin also have whip like appendages coming from their head, 3 on each side, these pose a use similar to those on angler fish, for attracting prey.
They also have small rock like formations going down their backs, they have a magnetic force that, as they age, attracts balls of stardust.
The last little formation on their back acts like a tail, but its magnetic force is significantly stronger, where every 10 years, a new ball of stardust is attracted to the tail. Newborns start out with just one ball and a fluff at the end of it.
Whiktahyin are approximately 605 feet tall at adult age. (that is female. males are approx. 670 feet tall)
They use their stardust parts and lures to attract prey or disguise themselves, they can cloak with the area around them if threatened or hunting.
Whiktahyin generally live to be 2.3 million years old, the one shown in the picture is just became an adult.
Elder Whiktahyin (1.5 mil years or older) have HUGE blades on their heads and really really long stardust tails. Like really.
dont ask how it eats i havent figured that out yet.
